Welcome to my new blog, "Mythical Microcosms".
This will be a place for all of us to explore, discuss and pontificate about fictional universes, worlds and all the characters that inhabit various Books, Films, Television, Comics, Toylines and more! There will be a strong emphasis on dissecting the myths and creations written by some of the greatest writers of all time. Not wanting to only scrutinize what's "popular", I will also occasionally delve into the lesser known genres of cinema and literature. In my opinion, that's where the most passion is displayed!
Having officially been dubbed as a "Historian of Myth" by my peers due to the amount of knowledge I possess regarding fictional creations, so I thought that I might as well begin my blog effort with a small introduction!
I am 37 years old and live in the lovely Tampa Bay, Florida area (Pinellas County) with my lovely girlfriend, Amy and her wee dog, Frankie! She is the most patient and wonderful woman I have ever known and it is no mistake that we met and fell madly in love immediately!
For many years, I have fancied myself a writer, although I have not yet been published. I have completed two screenplays, several short stories and I am halfway through a science fiction novel that I have been writing on and off for 18 years.
